("Pochi" is common pet dog name in Japan.)

What on earth is that red mark on the corner ?
In Japanese elementary school, when pupils do good work in the lesson, for example, composition, craft and picture , teachers stamp such mark on pupil's works. I always would think this custom so old fashioned. How about you?

Before the wwⅡ,there was a very famous dog cartoon in Japan. Hero was a dog soldier"Norakuro"."His carrier" started as a private. But strange to say, it was a Boston teria which looked like" Felix the cat" in the U.S.cartoon.
(By the way, Donald duck is a sailor, isn't it? I have seen marine Donald and army soldier too. I often meet the Japanese who like Disney very much but know nothing about this at all. )
