The word "a Nerd or a Geek",may have a slightly pejorative nuance for Guy who want to be popular with girls.Pretenders to a delinquent boy or a outlaw might afraid to be insulted as a Nerd.Such persons feel like calling himself "Traitors",I assume.
In Japan,showing off a trivial knowledge,such a person may be called names"Otakuおたく".This Japanese word is almost same as "Nerd".
The Peasant's War(1524-1525German) began as a farmer's rebellion.and After this incident,German land was mercilessly devastated.and There had been remained a ruin for a long time.
