There is no more difficult question than Blemishes which great thinkers left on their own careers.
Japanese Heidegger studies are active,and it might have influenced many intellectuals more over than in Germany.
As for Heidegger,a person who know his works, usually recognize the importance of his works,although even common German almost knows nothing about it.
Heidegger readers always have eagerly interest in Heidegger-Nazi problem.(please read Wikipedia" Martin Heidegger" )

By the way, Foucault(French philosopher) had praised Islamic revolution in Iran.
I have great influenced by his works.but I don't agree with Iran.
And he was homosexual.(of course, I'm not)
Foucault studies seems like more popular in U.S liberals than in France.
What a misunderstanding it is!
This means obviously that he was opposed to Democracy(anti enlightenment), hated western culture, had no interest in woman and feminism.( If he were in Iran alive,he might be executed by death penalty.)His passion have enough of exposing dirty secrets of humanity as a Western in his works.and liberals are the very typical Westerns he disclosed. Foucault,himself might be a excellent juvenile delinquent or an anarchist.
Anyway he was a pagan enemy essentially against LIBERAL postmodernists rather than a friend.

In western world,nobody opposes against "Equal Opportunity" But this is a cliche which put person(especially young people) under a spellbinding.
Depending on "Stupid justice", there are only two important things in the world. They are called "Egalitarianism and meritocracy".
Creative Art never originates from them. Whoever create something needs an accident and absurdity after a long term training.
According to Nietzsche, we hate creativity.　Mediocrity and commonplace are justice for ordinal person.

As for" Power-Knowledge",someone who has specialized social science,remember M.Foucault. Please don't mistake"Knowledge is Power"
Depending on his theory,
Not only cooperation of them, but also "our own Ego" originate from them.
Therefore, without politics,we may wipe our own ego out cleanly.
I dislike politics,and Sometime I imagine the world without ego like a fish.
By the way ,North Korea used the medicine to erase man's memory,and reformed the mind. Some U.S prisoners in Korean War, were erased their belief, became a perfect communist at heart.

The criminal Procedure Code is one of the most difficult law, and mainly it provides "due process".
Coincidentally, I knew serious news about this in U.S,France and Japan, at the same time.
But this three troubles are unique each other.
U.S case is torture problem (water boarding),France case is magistrate problem, and Japan case is confession and DNA identify.
Loopholes always exit. Prosecutor often take a chance in a "dirty"way. this is common thing in every country.
What I always think interesting, is that these"dirty" ways are unique in every country.
Japanese interrogator often interrogates suspect in the way which is not only logical but psychological and emotional.
Japanese prosecutor is not going to make suspect testify but reform their mind. Suspect often burst into tears.Then, interrogator say "He has fallen now."
And sometimes suspect confess false criminal fact about himself. These case is common motif on TV program in Japan.
