Gun Control and Japanese as "Surrender History"

Disputes about gun control in America are so harsh, that I cannot follow the opinions without irritation.

Japanese society has no guns . And most Japanese  live everyday without a fear for gun, although some sorts of guns are permitted under police's control.
I have no intention to critic Americans  on this issue and have recognized the difference of culture and history between U.S. and Japan

Pro-gun control don't know so much why Japanese has no guns. There had been  no guns without hunting harquebus in Japan for long time. Even Samurai hadn't. But at the end of Sengoku Era , BC 16~17 there were many guns in Japan. It is estimated that there were more guns than western countries. Hideyosi' the ruler who united a hole country, confiscated all guns successfully all over Japan. So there was no history of the militant like Europa and U.S.
After WW 2, there remained many weapons in Japan, but all of them were confiscated under U.S.occupation.

Gun control history is equal to be "Surrender History".

Some people in Japan, go to America to enjoy shooting, and come back to Japan, and say " We can't enjoy shooting in Japan, but it would rather be lucky."
